The following is an announcement from Insead, who is looking for participants in one of their research studies. Please liase directly with them if you are interested.

Dear students

We are looking for participants for the titled study on 6th, 7th, 10th and 11th of April 2006.

In this study, we are investigating situations where bonus systems are based on multiple targets. Major multinational firms such as GE and Siemens use similar systems with intent to motivate their managers and assess their performance. A recent article in Business Week reveals concerns about their impact on the risk-taking of the sales persons. In light of these concerns, we design an experiment that aims to test behavior versus the optimal risk response and educate people about the optimal risk strategies given different incentive schemes.

The whole exercise takes 20 minutes approximately. You will be paid $10 as a token of your participation. On top of the $10 participation, you will also be rewarded with a cash bonus ranging from $0 to $10 based on the survey experiment.
