On taking people for granted

Not in the mood to go into details, but i just wanna share some ideas n maybe u guys can discuss about it.

Perhaps the 4o "person" u've been used to is just a front. Perhaps u take it for granted that the front is the truth and whats beneath is represented by what he shows as his "personality"

Like for example, csq may be this cock-spewing queen that we adore, but beneath this is a serious person blahblah (refer to pnut's friendster testimonial for him)

smk, too, shows another dimension to his typical "gilbert!" actions when he's with 4o through that recent blog post.

n many more la. But just to extrapolate a little further. perhaps..:

edchong is seemingly someone who can talk about anything, Anything. But maybe if u mention his family or wateva, he'll pai sei?

k.kok. someone who's seemingly kanna condemn. but why is our attitude towards him like this? does he know this and does it on purpose? maybe his upbringing, his living environment forces him to do so?

yk.. no comments



blahblah. think of more maybes urself. But I just wanna say: we interract in a certain manner when with a particular group of people, in another manner when with another grp. Like say u throw me into a grp of gangsters. I'll hafta play the loser weakling to survive and avoid getting beaten up.(or i can just insult and run la. dun think they can catch me) but it doesn't mean i like being the loser and that its something i can accept.

yet i must admit, i'm so used to how u guys, as individuals, act and react when we gather in a group as 4o, that seriously, i'll hate to see changes to this. i always tell myself that when with 4o, i'm with a bunch of gd ol' friends who'll never fail to remind me that i'm still a young dude with great times in the past back in the days of secondary sch. i'll hate to suddenly see smk, csq, edchong, bert etcetc suddenly become serious, concerned, static people who give only politically-correct answers.

arguments are common amongst close friends, because precisely they are able to freely speak out their minds instead of robotic answers, which may offend the values of some and thus lead to a shoutout. Then again, friends make up and become closer friends as a result. Usually. Ideally. And this definitely beats being with a bunch of politicians who go "yes yes" but curse u behind ur back. i trust the 4o dudes (cuz i'm not kkok) but if ever this trust is betrayed, i know i'll be devastated.

not a quality post, but yeah, some ideas of my own la. 4o roxx. i dun love 4o the people, but 4o the identity. and that makes me less gay. haha.
