I have been thinking, if one of us happens to send in a letter to straits times or new paper, and it gets printed. n it gets blasted badly in blogs and in the papers, like michelle qiu, n its a controversial topic. wat will the rest of us do? Will anyone juz take the side of the particular guy? or wat?

to add on to what yihui said. of course i'll respond to what I believe. (seeing this is the nature of humans to stand for what they believe unless err-hem the prison experiment comes into play) However seeing i know 4o ppl better than say the auntie selling "tissue paper 1 dollar..?" at clementi, i'll try to bring out the positive sides of the individual to the public just so that people don't get a warped image of him. Or us. i think its only fair right.

Eh, let me tell u honestly what i feel.
I refuse to comment on controversial issues becos firstly, ming zhe bao shen.
Secondly I dun wan to influence pple's views. A lot of pple outside have weak minds and they will believe what their frens says unquestioningly. For me, i dun wan to sabo pple into making this mistake.
Unless i feel very strongly for the issue, which then, in my opinion, and to me, is not controversial anymore.
