Module Title : CRITICAL INTRODUCTION TO GAMING

Module Description : This module introduces students to the social, cultural, political and the commercial aspects of gaming as a significant interactive medium of our time. Through experiential learning, gaming will be presented as a growing area within new media studies. It also teaches students various theories of gaming and their cultural contexts. The module is aimed at FASS and SoC students interested in gaming as a social, economic and cultural phenomenon.
