Additionally, lifted off a forum:

"MEI MEI QIAO CENG LAI GAN"

In Hokkien, it means ask the girl to adjust the bed to have sex.

In Teochew, it means take the cutleries to have food.

It was lifted off a forum on Hokkien :

Just one interesting tidbit that I find highly doubtful

Another is 'Soap' and 'Market' many will say as 'sahkboon' and 'Pasat' which is actually derive from Malay word 'Sabun' and 'Pasar' respectively.<<
Nonsense.
The Hokkien term for "soap" came directly from the European traders who introduced the product to China. The original Latin word is "sebum", to which the word in other European languages ("sapone" in Italian, "savon" in French, "jabon" in Spanish, etc) may be traced. Ditto for the Hokkien term for "market", which came from the Persian word "bazaar".
As far as these two terms are concerned, "Singapore Hokkien" is entirely consistent with Taiwan and South Fujian Hokkien.
If anything, the Malays probably learnt the words from the Hokkiens.

Highly doubtful, anyone can back up the claim either way?

Dunno about soap and market, but I feel damn proud to be Hokkien now.
