Roy Keane's gone..
Todd didn't kaopeh when Patrick Viera left. N he claims it'll be better for arsenal if Henry leaves. Nor did Colin when Liverpool lost Owen. (ok i think he sobbed a little when Robbie Fowler was given the boot) As far as i knoe, there are no chelsea fans in 4o rite? (wats the name of tt shortie striker who left just b4 roman abramovich bought the club?)
They din kaopeh cuz those players are so-so only~~ (HAHAHA)
but darn i was shocked beyond words when i heard this morning tt Roy Keane left.. HAI.. how can..
i'm counting down to the day Ryan Giggs leave the club either through retirement or change of club.. Then i'll be 1 sad person. (dun really feel a thing for the ginger-haired guy though.)

Actually it was coming la... he's got at most one, *maybe* two years left at Premier League level. Better to be like Cantona, leave at his prime (ok, actually about 3 years past his prime) than fade away into mediocrity.
Scholes actually should have the longest top-level lifespan of Man U's four midfielders, since he doesn't rely on pace as much as Giggs, however recently his form damn poor. His performance against Chelsea gave some hope though, flashes of yesteryear.
As for Henry... actually I've felt that Arsenal was carried by him ever since he burst on the scene. Actually I would trade RvN for Henry in the blink of an eye, given Ruud's limitations (can't really dribble, can't shoot from range). Seriously without him, I think Arsenal at most will be an upper mid-table club for some years.
Finally, Keane was never the nicest guy around, but he was a real captain. Scholes, RvN, Rio may be good at what they do, but I don't see them as skipper material. Rooney is just too young, maybe five years later.
Gary Neville is the obvious successor but also old liao, and increasingly injury-prone. Giggs doesn't even play much. Silvestre actually needs Rio to lead him, which doesn't say much for him. The rest are juniors.
So it's Neville, and maybe van der Sar, with Heinze my third choice. Or they can just give the armband to Park Ji Sung and see him run himself into the ground for 90 minutes every match (oh ya he does that already...) :P

firstly, i read frm the papers tt scholes is being played in a wrong position cuz his usual position of being behind the strikers is currently taken by rooney (true anot? but then again i thot rooney's playing alongside rvn in man u, no?)
scholes.. i've never really seen him play impressively lei. maybe i started noticing him late, when his form starts to dwindle, or maybe he just plays very anonymously. frankly, i miss ole gunnar solskjaer n gary neville a tad bit more. solskjaer for sentimental reasons. Treble!!
keane is wat i'll call a 'mad genius'. Or Xiao2 Gao4. Who's not afraid of a mad dog chasing after your delicious bum? but fear aside, this guy really die die must win. I respect that.
i duno if its the norm to give the new players the captain's armband though. abit weird. but i think van de sar would be nice. like peter schmeichel liddat. but i think rio ferdinand will be dulan over it. someone sack the dude soon n bring john terry in pls~! (or anyone cheaper yet more willing to play football)
