Another Follow-up to the Previous Post

Hmm.. Seriously coincidentally enough, i just heard from someone abt a possible origin of the f-word. According to his story, in the past in England, you need the Crown's consent to have sex. Yah, a rather crude method of birth control. So whenever you need sex, you have to apply for it, get a sign that reads Fornication Under the Crown's Knowledge, or Fornication Under Consent of King (hmm.. many interpretations.. but yah, F.U.C.K still) and place it outside your house while doing so (Sth like the do-not-disturb sign u place outside ur hotel room). Thus originated the f-word. Dunno if it's accurate but it makes an interesting read.
